CWP CABINET CONCEPTS

Country style kitchens are warm and welcoming, with light and/or bright colors, painted and glazed cabinets, woven baskets, and decorative shelving and molding.  There are several different variations to the country style kitchen- English, French, American, etc., but the prevailing element to this style is the comfort that this environment creates.   Kitchen cabinets often feature painted and glazed finishes, and it is also popular to distress the cabinet finish.  Cabinet door styles often feature raised or recessed panels.  Glass or open cabinet shelves are also popular as a way to display colorful dishes, making the inside of the cabinets part of the décor.  A butcher block or hand-painted tiles are ways to create visual interest in this style kitchen.  Antiques and flea-market finds enhance a country kitchen’s unique personality.
